The candidate shall be eligible for admission to the First Year B.E.,

Admission of a Candidate directly to the Third Semester B.E. Level shall
be termed as Lateral Entry. The Eligibility conditions for lateral entry
directly to the 3rd semester B.E. shall be governed by the rules prescribed
and updated from time to time by the Director of Technical Education,
Government of Maharashtra. However, the general eligibility conditions
shall be as mentioned below:
(i) That the Candidate should have passed Three Years Diploma
Program with at least 50% marks in appropriate branch of
Engineering/Technology from within the State of Maharashtra or
its equivalent,
OR
(ii) That the Candidate should have passed Three Years B.Sc. (Bachelor
of Science) examination of this University or any other University recognized by the UGC/MHRD with Mathematics, as a compulsory
subject, with minimum 50 % marks(CGPA = 5.75), after passed
XII(HSC) standard with mathematics as a subject.
However, candidates admitted under such category shall be
required to clear Courses of Engineering Graphics/Engineering
Drawing, Electrical Engineering and Engineering Mechanical of the
I and II Semester B.E. Program, along with the III semester B.E.
Courses. The eligibility for admission into V Semester B.E. shall
remain same, as usual.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission:(a)Admission to the program shall be made on the
basis of merit by the respective college admission committee and in accordance with the
rules and instructions provided from time to time in this regard by the Bar Council of India.
The reservation policy and rules of the Government of Maharashtra governing admission
to higher educational institutions issued from time to time shall also be followed.
(b) An applicant who has graduated in any discipline of knowledge from a university
established by an Act of Parliament or by a state legislature or from an equivalent national
institution recognized as a deemed to be University or from a foreign university recognized
as equivalent to the status of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare

(c) Students who secures minimum 45% of the total marks in the qualifying examination are

Eligibility Criteria for Admission: (a) Admission to the program shall be made on basis of merit

Minimum qualification for admission
1 First year B. Pharm:
Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective
state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2
examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one
of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology

4. Duration of the program
The course of study for B. Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters
(four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry
